Wiped the dust off a rarely used yoga mat and started a daily yoga practice.
February 12, 2019 | 6am

First group class at Shakti Power Yoga in Nashville. Very hot yoga. Very challenging & very rewarding

Six months of practicing every day. Getting the hang of it. Building strength and flexibility, and venturing into Salamba Shirshasana (yoga headstands).

First class taught by master yogi and dear friend, Koula Callahan. Toughed it out with friends, Ally, Amy and Christy before a full day of coaching a StoryBrand Live Workshop together at Music City Center.

In mid-May when my father's battle with late stage Alzheimer's became increasingly difficult my daily practice became a sporadic weekly practice. After his passing in July I lost it completely.
​
Throughout the following months I've struggled to begin again. It finally feels like it might be time.

Getting back on track with the love and support of friends.
Knowing I had this workshop gave me extra motivation to start practicing regularly.
Whatever it takes. It's good to get moving again.
