About Me

In 2011, I picked up my first D-SLR camera. It was a Nikon D70 I borrowed from a family member. My desire for shooting images at that time was solely hobby.  However, I quickly fell in love with the art of photography and began to study photographic art, first through reading and research and eventually through classes at a local school.  Photojournalism, street photography and portraiture were the genres that inspired me the most.  I continue to be inspired by the works of Henri Cartier-Bresson, Robert Capa, Richard Avedon and Vivian Maier, as well as many others.  I enjoy capturing images of real life moments and the people who make up those moments.
